I still clearly remember Kate's first album. I think this is because of her mysterious dance performance on Avro's TopPop with Ad Visser. From the album "The Kick Inside," the song "The Man With The Child In His Eyes" is my favourite.

Catherine (Kate) Bush (30 July 1958) is a British singer, musician, singer-songwriter and producer. When she was only 16, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd ensured she signed with EMI. Her experimental style and distinctive vocal technique have earned her appreciation from fellow musicians and a devoted, if not overly large, fanbase. This is evident from the fact that her records always sell well, even though she often takes years to make an album; for Aerial, even twelve years. Bush debuted in 1978 at the age of nineteen with the hit Wuthering Heights, inspired by the book of the same name by Emily Brontë. The song topped the UK charts for four weeks.
In March 2014, Bush announced on her website that under the name "Before the Dawn" she would give a series of fifteen concerts for the first time in 35 years at the Hammersmith Apollo theatre in London. A few days later, she added another seven performances. The 22 shows sold out in less than fifteen minutes. On 26 August 2014, Kate gave her first concert in 35 years. The performances were a great success. In the week following the first show, eight of Kate Bush's albums were in the UK Top 40. No other woman had achieved that before.
